Nike is giving us something new and fresh with this Nike Air More Uptempo that has been dubbed the “Maximum Volume” colorway.
Looking closer, this Nike Air More Uptempo pays tribute to its ‘Maximum Volume’ Air unit that comes covered in removable tissue paper. That paper also features vintage ads for the shoe. Once removed, the shoe comes covered in Black while patent leather adorns the ‘AIR’ branding with Aqua on the trimming. Lastly, Black appears on the midsole while a Red Swoosh hits the insole to finish the look.
A release date for the Nike Air More Uptempo “Maximum Volume” has yet to be revealed, but expect a launch this summer season.

There was plenty of hardwood heat on display at this year’s All-Star game as Team LeBron laced up against Team Durant in Atlanta, Georgia.
While Team LeBron won convincingly (170-150), it looks like King James also won the sneaker sweepstakes, the 4 x NBA Champion revealing a signed pair of Off-White’s upcoming Nike Air Force 1 ‘University Gold’.
Emblazoning the AF-1 midsoles with ‘Air Le Bron’, ‘Black Lives Matter’ and ‘Virgil Was Here’, it was our first real look at the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 ‘University Gold’ after months and months of teasing and leaks.
Shared via social media and Virgil Abloh’s “PUBLIC DOMAIN” website, the University Gold and Metallic Silver composition is built with a gold base and eye-catching silver Swooshes, the stitching around the Swoosh and customary Nike x Off-White branding.
Look for the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘University Gold’ to release exclusively at Virgil’s ICA Boston exhibit in July. The retail price is reportedly $150.
